Modification on the design bullding on the wall, floor, roof and basement system. The modification done on roof are using the gridshell timber roof replacing the butterfly concrete roof,wall system where the concrete waffle floor system are being applied,slanted curtain wall and reinforced retaining basement wall.

This project relates to the topics of Industrialised Building System (IBS) as well as the materials’ embodied energy. This project students exposed on different types and methods of the IBS system and the calculation of embodied energy of different building materials.
It consists of two parts. In the first part, a case study of a building which was constructed using IBS to understand the components better. In the second part, a
model of a 3-storey apartment building to imitate the actual IBS construction process and to record all the process in a report.
